“ Wizard’s Fire”
A one-of-a-kind original sculpture
by Cheryl Bollenbach
17 inches
Wizard’s Fire is meant to depict an angry wizard conjuring fire to use as a weapon against some unseen enemy. His clothing is in a style typical of early 1800’s, with a shirt made of an antique linen handkerchief. His staff sports a snake of Apoxie and quartz crystal. The fire is made of antique fabric that has been wired into his hand armature.
His head, hands and feet are sculpted of polymer clay that has been hand-painted with meticulous detail in fine acrylic paint. The fabric body has been needle sculpted over a wire armature. He has a Mohair wig and a solid wood stand.
