Born and raised in Florida, I have spent my adult life living in Florida, Texas, Maryland, Hawaii, and for the past 15 years, Colorado. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii in 1990, then moved to Colorado where I was swept off my feet and married in 1996. My daughter and 2 teenaged grandsons also live in Colorado. Two very spoiled schipperkes round out our family.

I have been driven to create things with my hands since I was a young child, and was so blessed to have an artistic grandmother that I adored. Effie taught me how to laugh, cook, garden and to paint in oils, but more importantly she taught me how to see the world around me.

My work has garnered numerous awards at local and national shows, and has been featured in Doll Castle News (2000). Since 1998, teaching sculpting has been a rewarding occupation.

Observing that most amazing creation - the human being - has given me an unending interest and desire to re-create the facial expressions and characters that color our world.

Rug-hooking, wood carving, painting, papermaking, and metal working are other enthusiastically attended avocations!

Requests for commissioned creations are enthusiastically considered!
